Freshman Rylie Evans has
been showing goats for two

years now, picking up the ac-
tivity in seventh grade.

Her experiences have led
her to show two goats at the

Central Stock show on Thurs-
day, Jan. 18.

Evans gave it her all while
showing at the event, and she

ended up placing fourth over-
all.

Evans believes that her
performance was not bad, but
she still has the potential to do
better..
“I think I did well, but

there is room for improve-
ment,” said Evans.

There are many enjoyable
aspects as well as life lessons
that has made Evans time
showing goats enjoyable.
“The skills that I have
learned and getting to watch
my hard work pay off is why
I enjoy showing goats,” said
Evans.

Evans will continue show-
ing goats as she heads further

into the show season and her
future in showing.
