Warren “sales” into her senior year

Senior Morgan Warren has jumped right into her final year of high school.

Warren spends much of her time managing an eBay sales business where she has sold approximately 250 items.

“I started my business back in the eighth grade,” Warren stated. “My grandpa likes collecting tools, and what he doesn’t want, he gives to me.”

After she receives the tools from her grandpa, Warren then identifies the type of tools, gets photos of them, and gets them posted on her site.

Through this business Warren has learned many skills that will benefit her in the future.

“I have to work really hard at staying consistent and being responsible,” expressed Warren. “When my items sell I have to get them to the post office on time, and I have to track some things for tax purposes. Having this business teaches me to stay organized and on top of things.”

Junior Chesnie Stuart, a friend of Warren, expressed how she has seen her  kindness and care for others.

“Morgan is one of the kindest people I have ever met,” stated Stuart.

Fellow senior Kylie Fisher has also seen great traits in Warren.

“Some of her best qualities are compassion, empathy and selflessness,” expressed Fisher. “No matter what situation she is in, Morgan always has a positive attitude and willingness to get through it.”

Through showing kindness Warren has not only grown as a student but also as a person.

“Since the fifth grade Morgan has become such an amazing person,” Fisher stated. “She went from not caring about school as much to being a straight A student. She has also opened her perspective on the world and has only changed for the better.”

With Warren’s experience she shares some advice needed for the underclassmen.

“I would advise younger students to really try to branch out and explore things that you want to do,” expressed Warren. “Even if you don’t have friends involved in things, still branch out and do it because that is  how you make new friends.”

After high school Warren plans to obtain a Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) from either Rogers State University or Oklahoma Baptist University.

After earning her degree, she plans on working in an ICU or emergency room.
