Seeley pitches a memorable senior year
Each time senior Kole Seeley steps up to the plate on behalf of the Marlow High School baseball team, his years of experience hit it out of the park.
Seeley, a baseball fan since his years in tee-ball, plays as a starter for the baseball team and is notorious for his infectious energy and leadership abilities.
“Kole inspires others through the excitement for the game that he brings every day,” explained MHS Baseball Coach of seven years John Morgan. “Kole is a great leader for the younger guys on the team because he’s always ready for practice. He enjoys the comradery of teammates.”
Morgan witnessed Seeley’s growth firsthand as Seeley began his high school experience as a member of the 2019 Class 3A State Runner-Up baseball team before progressing to the 2021 Class 3A State Baseball Semifinals his junior year.
Showcasing his grit and determination with jersey number three on the field, Seeley demonstrates the true meaning of being an outlaw through the growth baseball has provided him.
“When Kole was a freshman, he was small and not much of a talker,” noted fellow senior Chance O’Neal. “As he has grown into a starter, he has learned to use his vocal abilities, making him a true leader of our team.”
Morgan also commented on Seeley’s development as a member of the Marlow High School baseball team.
“Kole has gotten mentally tougher in tough situations, and he’s matured as a person,” remarked Morgan. “He has improved on power, speed and baseball savvy.”
As Seeley prepares for the 2022 baseball season where he will wrap up his high school experience, he reflected on the lessons he has learned through the sport.
“I’ve learned that you can fail and still be considered great,” explained Seeley. “I plan to take the idea from baseball of never giving up into my future.”
After high school, Seeley plans to take his will power into a college of his choice to pursue a degree in Biology and become a dentist.
