Amanda’s potato soup recipe for Four

You will need:

  1. Five potatoes
  2. One cup of milk
  3. One tablespoon of garlic powder
  4. One teaspoon of salt
  5. One tablespoon of pepper
  6. One spoonful of butter
  7. Two cans of cream of potato soup (any brand of choice)
  8. Bacon bits (optional)
  9. Grated cheese of choice (optional)
  10. Set of measuring cups

 

Instructions:

  1. Wash, peel, and cut the potatoes into small to medium sized cubes.
  2. Put the potatoes in a five quart sauce pan.
  3. Add enough water to cover the top of the potatoes.
  4. Add in two cans of cream of potato soup.
  5. Add in one tablespoon of garlic powder.
  6. Add in one teaspoon of oregano.
  7. Add in one teaspoon of salt.
  8. Add in one tablespoon of pepper.
  9. Add one cup of milk.
  10. Add in a regular sized spoonful of butter.
  11. Bring ingredients to a boil for twenty minutes on high heat or until the potatoes are soft.
  12. Let potatoes simmer for fifteen minutes covered on low heat.
  13. Turn off the stove burners and let cool for five to ten minutes.
  14. Sprinkle grated cheese and bacon bits on the top and serve!
